Verdansk's Return and Controversial Operator Roze Hinted for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3

Recent leaks hint at the return of the popular map Verdansk to Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 3, coinciding with the game's Spring 2025 timeframe and 5th anniversary.  While Activision confirmed Verdansk's return, a specific date remains undisclosed.  However, with Season 3 expected in March, data miners have discovered Verdansk references within Black Ops 6 and Warzone files following the mid-season update.

Adding fuel to the fire, Call of Duty leaker HeyImAlaix suggests operators Roze, Mace, and Hudson might be included in Season 3.  While Hudson is a familiar face in the Black Ops universe, Roze and Mace originate from Modern Warfare. This leak follows closely behind the Season 2 Reloaded update, which introduced new in-game files potentially laying the groundwork for the next season.

The potential return of Roze, a controversial operator from Modern Warfare, has sparked debate.  Roze's infamous 'Rook' skin, entirely blacked out, caused significant visibility issues in both Warzone and multiplayer, leading to multiple nerfs.  Although several 'Roze 2.0' skins have appeared since, none have replicated the original's disruptive impact.  It remains uncertain whether Roze will return with the controversial skin or an alternative appearance.

While Verdansk's return seemingly aligns with Warzone's anniversary, Alaix suggests the operators are tied to Black Ops 6, hinting at their availability in multiplayer.  Whether players will need to repurchase these operators is currently unknown.
