Activision has unveiled the complete roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3, detailing the upcoming additions to Treyarch Studios' shooter.  Players can experience the new content starting April 2nd.

The highly anticipated Season 3 update also marks the return of Verdansk to Warzone.  However, Warzone servers will be offline for 24 hours between April 2nd and 3rd for the map's reintegration. The revamped Verdansk promises a stunning visual upgrade after a long absence.

The Season 3 roadmap for Black Ops Cold War includes three new multiplayer maps at launch: a remastered Firing Range, Barrage (a 6v6 map set in 1968 Vietnam), and Nomad (a smaller 6v6 and 2v2 map in Afghanistan).  Two additional maps and a Nuketown variant are planned for the mid-season update.

Confirmed weapon additions include iconic guns from Modern Warfare: the CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle and HDR Sniper Rifle (in the Season 3 Battle Pass), and the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle (available to players who log in during Warzone's downtime). The Ladra SMG, Nail Gun, and Kali Sticks will arrive via an in-season event. Players can also acquire a Grau 5.56 conversion kit for the Swat 5.56 and the Monolithic Suppressor, both featured in the Battle Pass.

Two new modes, Sharpshooter and Demolition, are also launching with Season 3.  Sharpshooter is a free-for-all party mode with rotating loadouts. Demolition tasks players with attacking and defending bomb sites.
