Treyarch Studios is giving Black Ops 6 players one last boost before Season 3 arrives with a double XP event starting March 28th.  This weekend event will offer double XP on weapons, Battle Pass progression, leveling, and even Gobblegum acquisition in Zombies mode.

The timing is perfect for players looking to maximize their progress before the new season. While Season 3 was initially slated for March 20th, Activision delayed its release to April 3rd, promising a significant update for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.  Although details about Black Ops 6 content remain scarce, Activision has confirmed the return of Verdansk in Warzone for Season 3.

The upcoming double XP event provides a great incentive to dive back into Black Ops 6. The in-game event tab confirms double XP for leveling, weapons, Battle Pass progression, and Zombies Gobblegums. Whether players are aiming for Master Prestige or maxing out a specific weapon, this event caters to everyone.

The exact duration of the double XP event remains unconfirmed, but it could potentially extend until Season 3 begins on April 3rd.  If it's a weekend-only event, players can expect it to conclude on either March 31st or April 1st. The official end date will be announced in-game once the event goes live.

While players anticipate the double XP weekend, there's still time to participate in the ongoing Clover Craze event in Black Ops 6. This event, which started on March 13th, will end on March 27th at 10 AM PT.  Players can collect clovers by eliminating enemies and exchange them for rewards, including a new weapon blueprint for the AMES 85.
