Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is bringing back daily login rewards, offering players a chance to snag in-game bonuses like double XP tokens, calling cards, a weapon charm, and more. This feature, last seen in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, returns as both Black Ops 6 and Warzone approach the end of Season 2, with Season 3's launch set for April 3rd following a two-week delay.
The delay of Season 3, initially slated for March 20th, allows developers more time to polish the substantial content update. Activision has confirmed the highly anticipated return of Verdansk, the original Warzone battle royale map, as a focal point of Season 3. While details for Black Ops 6 content remain scarce, anticipation is building.
While the Verdansk return excites Warzone players, some crucial elements might be missing. In the meantime, Black Ops 6 players can now earn daily login rewards. Logging in for seven consecutive days grants various items: a double XP token, a spray, a double weapon XP token, a calling card, a double Battle Pass XP token, a sticker, and a weapon charm. Rewards are automatically granted upon logging into Black Ops 6.
However, player response to the daily login rewards has been less than enthusiastic. Some players on social media expressed disappointment, stating a preference for weapon camos or operator skins over stickers and charms. Others voiced that only a weapon blueprint or camo would incentivize daily logins.
Despite the lukewarm reception to the login rewards, Black Ops 6 continues to offer various opportunities for players to earn in-game items. Regular in-game events, like the recent St. Patrick's Day themed "Clover Craze" event, provide players with chances to unlock cosmetic items and consumables by completing challenges and participating in activities.
