Activision is giving players a chance to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for free with the arrival of Season 3 on April 2nd. This highly anticipated update brings a wealth of new content, including multiplayer maps, weapons, game modes, bug fixes, and more.

Originally slated for March 20th, Season 3 was delayed but is now launching slightly earlier than expected for Black Ops 6 players, ahead of the Warzone launch on April 3rd. This marks a shift from the usual simultaneous release schedule.

During the 24-hour Warzone server downtime for Season 3 preparation, Activision is offering a 24-hour free access period to the entire Season 3 premium content of Black Ops 6, from April 2nd to April 3rd. This provides an excellent opportunity for players to explore the new season's offerings, including new weapons.

While full details of the Season 3 content are forthcoming, Treyarch Studios has confirmed the return of the remastered Firing Range map from the original Black Ops, along with modes like Demolition and Sharpshooter. Additional multiplayer maps are also anticipated.

In anticipation of the Season 3 launch, a double XP weekend will run from March 28th to April 2nd, offering double XP for levels, weapons, Battle Pass progression, and Gobblegum earn rate in Zombies mode.
