Activision has addressed the in-game voice chat moderation system for Call of Duty, stating that players should still be able to engage in some level of trash talk while avoiding hateful and derogatory language. This has been a point of contention since the system's implementation in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, with some players feeling it's too restrictive. The company is working to refine the system and promises a progress report later this year detailing results for both voice and text chat moderation.

The return of Verdansk to Warzone has been confirmed, although players have expressed concerns about potential issues that could impact the beloved map's comeback. Activision's blog post also revealed some unfortunate news for Season 2 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Due to the prevalence of bugs, glitches, and cheaters, the planned content will be reduced to prioritize gameplay improvements and bug fixes. The delayed content is expected to be released later.

Players are anticipating the return of Verdansk to Call of Duty: Warzone, but have voiced concerns about potential problems that could negatively affect the map's reintroduction.

Activision has clarified its stance on in-game voice chat moderation in Call of Duty. While the system aims to curb hate speech and harassment, Activision emphasizes that players should still be able to engage in lighthearted trash talk. The company is continuously refining the system to ensure a balance between allowing playful banter and preventing harmful language.  A report on the effectiveness of the moderation system will be released later in the year.

The developer's blog post also revealed that Season 2 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone will have less content than initially planned.  The focus will shift to addressing bugs, glitches, and cheating issues, with the postponed content slated for future release.
