A small update has arrived for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone players. This minor patch, deployed by Treyarch Studios and Raven Software in the last days of February, focuses on stability improvements.
While regular updates for both titles have become commonplace, introducing weapon adjustments, gameplay tweaks, and bug fixes, this particular update is less substantial.
With Season 2 of Call of Duty nearing its end, anticipation is building for Season 3. Rumors and leaks suggest the return of the original Warzone battle royale map, Verdansk, a major event potentially slated for March. Activision has hinted at significant plans surrounding this return, building excitement within the community.
This February 28th patch, described as a “minor stability update” by the official Call of Duty Updates Twitter account, is now available for download across all platforms (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC). The download size is approximately 500MB, varying slightly depending on the platform. Detailed patch notes are not available, suggesting the absence of significant changes to gameplay, weapon balancing, or major bug fixes.
A more substantial update was released on February 26th for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This update addressed numerous bug fixes and reinstated the ability to open the “East Main Street” door buy from the Yummy Freeze roof in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Ranked Play enthusiasts also welcomed the removal of restrictions on the Recoil Springs Fire Mod for the Jackal PDW submachine gun.
Following the latest update, the Call of Duty Updates Twitter account acknowledged an issue affecting the new D1.3 Sector weapon in Black Ops 6. The “Fast Times” camo challenge is currently bugged, preventing one-shot kills from being tracked correctly in multiplayer. Players are hopeful that a future update will address this problem soon.
