The recent Season 2 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brought new maps, weapons, and cosmetics, but it also inadvertently revealed secrets about the game's future. Data miners have been sifting through the updated game files, uncovering hints about upcoming seasons and additions.

One of the most significant discoveries points towards the potential return of Specialist Scorestreaks, a system popularized in Modern Warfare.  Call of Duty leaker HeyImAlaix found descriptions in the game files referencing "Perkstreaks," which reward players with perks for killstreaks instead of traditional scorestreaks. This closely resembles the Specialist system from Modern Warfare 2019.

While the system's final name in Black Ops 6 remains uncertain, the leaked description strongly suggests its implementation. However, it's crucial to remember that plans can change during development, so this feature isn't guaranteed.

The leaks don't end there.  Files also suggest the return of the fan-favorite Verdansk map to Warzone, potentially alongside the popular Resurgence game mode. Resurgence allows players to respawn as long as at least one teammate remains alive. Though a Spring 2025 release window has been mentioned, whispers point toward a Season 3 launch in March.
