The heroes in a half shell are making their way into the world of Call of Duty.  The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are confirmed to be dropping into both Black Ops 6 and Warzone soon, adding another layer of exciting crossover content to the ongoing Season 2.

Season 2 has already seen the addition of new multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, the Zombies map 'The Tomb,' and a Terminator operator bundle.  This TMNT collaboration marks the third major crossover for Black Ops 6, following a Squid Game-themed event and the Terminator collaboration.  Interestingly, while this is the turtles' first appearance as playable characters, the franchise's villain, Shredder, was a crossover skin in Modern Warfare 2 (2022).

Following a recent Terminator event that received mixed reactions from fans, Call of Duty announced the TMNT crossover via a short teaser trailer.  The 15-second clip shows the four turtles emerging from a manhole in Warzone, accompanied by the caption 'COD-A-BUNGA.' While no specific release date was provided, the 'Coming Soon' tagline suggests the crossover is imminent.

Rumors are circulating about TMNT-themed ninja weapons, including katanas, nunchucks, and even a skateboard, potentially arriving as part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. This speculation links the TMNT crossover with the mid-season refresh, which is expected to launch in late February or early March. It remains to be seen whether the turtles will be available as individual operator bundles or as one large package, and if special in-game challenges or events will accompany their arrival.
