Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone received a minor update on February 11, focusing on refining the player experience. The update arrives two weeks after the substantial Season 2 launch, which introduced new maps, weapons, and gameplay enhancements.
While Season 2 brought considerable content for Multiplayer and Zombies, Warzone received less than expected due to a focus on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. This decision followed concerns about declining player counts and criticisms of the game's state. The February 11 update continues these efforts to improve Warzone.
The latest update tackles various issues across both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. In Black Ops 6, the update addresses stability problems within the Zombies mode and resolves a Gunsmith glitch that prevented players from equipping certain XMG weapon blueprints. Ranked Play in Black Ops 6 now restricts the KSV and PPSh-41 SMGs, as well as the Cypher 091 Assault Rifle.
Warzone also saw changes, particularly in Ranked Play. The Experimental Gas Grenade is no longer permitted, and a bug preventing player demotions has been fixed. Further fixes address general Battle Royale issues.
This update follows an extension of the Double XP event for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The extension is believed to compensate for the recent PSN outage that disrupted online play.
The February 11 update demonstrates the ongoing commitment to improve and refine both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
