The highly anticipated Season 2 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone is finally here, addressing a range of issues and introducing exciting new content.
Treyarch Studios has confirmed that the update rectifies the persistent Master Prestige bug, which plagued players with a congratulatory message after each match. This fix is a welcome relief for those who reached Master Prestige and experienced the recurring, and ultimately pointless, prompt to prestige again.
Season 2 delivers three new Multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline. Bounty and Dealership cater to 6v6 action, while Lifeline offers both 6v6 and 2v2 Gunfight experiences. New modes, perks, and Ranked Play rewards further enhance the Multiplayer offering.
A much-requested feature, the ability to track camo challenges, makes its debut in both Multiplayer and Zombies. Players can now monitor their progress on up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously, a feature previously available in Modern Warfare 3 but absent in Black Ops 6 until now.
Addressing community concerns, Warzone's Season 2 focuses on gameplay refinements, quality-of-life enhancements, and bug fixes. A new Reactive Armor perk is available at launch, with a Low Profile perk arriving mid-season. New Ranked Play rewards are also included, and ongoing gameplay updates are planned throughout the season.
