Following a successful first season, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is gearing up for the launch of Season 2 with a fresh injection of content for multiplayer fans. Five new 6v6 maps are being introduced, promising diverse combat experiences across various locations.
A recently released trailer showcases three of these new maps: Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline. Bounty takes players to the heights of a city skyscraper, while Dealership offers close-quarters combat within and around a car showroom packed with sports cars. Lifeline appears to be a reimagining of the popular Hijacked map from Black Ops 2, providing a thrilling smaller-scale engagement.
The remaining two maps, Bullet and Grind, will be added during the mid-season Reloaded update. While details remain scarce, speculation suggests Grind is a remake of the beloved skate park map from Black Ops 2, adding further credence to pre-release rumors of classic map remakes.
Beyond multiplayer, Season 2 continues the Zombies storyline with a new chapter titled 'The Tomb'. Picking up where 'Citadelle des Morts' left off, this new map promises more of the zany and action-packed zombie slaying that Black Ops 6 is known for.
Furthermore, the upcoming season will introduce new weaponry, including the FN FAL assault rifle and the classic PPSH-41 submachine gun, a fan-favorite from earlier Call of Duty Zombies entries. These additions are sure to shake up the existing meta and offer players fresh tactical options.
