A recent Call of Duty video seemingly confirms the return of the Kilo 141 and CR-56 AMAX assault rifles to Warzone in Season 3. The video, celebrating International Women's Day, briefly showcases operators wielding these iconic Modern Warfare weapons, hinting at their imminent reintroduction.

Originally slated for March 20th, Season 3 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone was delayed to April 13th. Activision promises this season will be a significant event for both games, with more details expected after Warzone's fifth anniversary on March 10th.  The teaser video, however, appears to have jumped the gun, exciting fans with the prospect of these classic weapons returning.

The video featuring the Kilo 141 and CR-56 AMAX shows operators, one from Black Ops Cold War and another from Warzone, on Rebirth Island. This strongly suggests the weapons will be available in both games.  The timing aligns with leaks hinting at the return of various Modern Warfare elements, further solidifying the speculation.

Rumors abound regarding Season 3's content, with some leaks suggesting the return of other Modern Warfare weapons like the Grau 5.56 and HDR sniper rifle.  The highly anticipated return of Verdansk, rumored to coincide with Season 3's launch, could be a game-changer.  Activision confirmed in 2024 that Verdansk would return in Spring 2025, and recent additions to the game files lend further credence to these rumors.

With player numbers declining, the success of Season 3 is crucial for Warzone. Activision seems to be pulling out all the stops, potentially leveraging nostalgia and fan-favorite content to reignite player engagement.  The return of classic weapons and maps could be just what Warzone needs to recapture its former glory.  Official confirmation of these additions is expected in the coming weeks.
