Treyarch Studios has announced the return of in-game challenge tracking to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, a feature absent since Modern Warfare 3. While a release date remains unconfirmed, its inclusion in the upcoming Season 2 is anticipated. This will be a welcome addition for players pursuing Mastery camos.
The latest Black Ops 6 update addresses various issues in Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Bug fixes for UI and audio were implemented, alongside increased XP for the Red Light, Green Light mode. Importantly, Treyarch reverted unpopular changes to Zombies' Directed Mode, addressing community concerns about extended round times and zombie spawn delays.
Players are raising concerns about certain weapon bundles in Black Ops 6, labeling them as "pay-to-lose." These bundles are believed to offer a gameplay disadvantage, prompting warnings within the community.
Responding to player feedback on Twitter, Treyarch confirmed that challenge tracking is "currently in the works." This feature, popular in Modern Warfare 3, allows players to monitor their progress towards specific challenges in real-time within the game's UI.
Treyarch also acknowledged a request for separate HUD settings for Multiplayer and Zombies, confirming that this improvement is also under development. This will allow players to customize their HUD preferences for each mode without needing constant adjustments.
