Activision has issued takedown notices to those involved in the recent massive leak of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Among the targets are game hosting sites, including one of the largest, PSLAN.

PSLAN confirmed receiving a takedown request from Activision Blizzard, stating that they had been offering access to Black Ops 6 for €6 per month and that hundreds of players had already purchased the game through their platform. Activision is demanding €250,000 in compensation from PSLAN for the leak. Following the notice, PSLAN has stated that players will no longer be able to search for Black Ops 6 on their platform.

In addition to hosting platforms, social media users who participated in the leak have also received warnings. Prominent Call of Duty leaker, Twitter user @HeyImAlaix, appears to have been among those warned, though this is not the first time he has received such a notice from Activision.

While Activision's actions against hosting platforms and leakers may temporarily slow down the leaks, it's unlikely to completely stop the flow of information. To further protect their content, Activision has also issued DMCA takedown notices for all leaked Black Ops 6 content.
